A 5.54 karat diamond has been given to the because I said I would charity by an incredibly generous woman. Our nonprofit’s finances were stable at the time of this donation and so the decision was made to put the diamond in hiding until a time of need arose. Today, our programs are at a critical turning point where funding can sustain and amplify the impact of our charitable work in schools and correctional facilities. Our time of need is now. Appraised at $235,000, the diamond is now for sale.
100% of the proceeds of this sale will go to fuel our nonprofit’s programs. Because I said I would is a nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of humanity through promises made and kept. We are changing lives through chapters of volunteers, character education in schools, accountability programs and awareness campaigns with global reach.
Offers are being accepted for the diamond. If you would like to learn more about the diamond’s specifications, the official GIA diamond grading report is available online here.
