Double Your Impact
Many employers match charitable donations made by their employees, which can increase the impact of your gift at no additional cost to you. Matching gift programs may apply to both individual donations and recurring monthly donations, helping your support go even further.
After making your donation, check with your employer or human resources department to see whether your contribution to because I said I would is eligible for a matching gift. Your employer may have a simple form or online process to submit your request.

Camp because I said I would provides a place for retreats, programs, families, volunteers, educators, nonprofit professionals, and community groups to connect, learn, reflect, and recharge.
Maintaining the property and providing these experiences takes ongoing support. Gifts of equipment, supplies, vehicles, and other resources help us keep Camp operating and available to the people we serve.

Donor-advised funds, stock gifts, and planned gifts offer additional ways to support our mission while aligning with your charitable and financial plans.
Planned Giving
Make because I said I would part of your legacy by including our organization in your will or estate plan.
You may also name because I said I would as a beneficiary of a retirement account, life insurance policy, or other eligible asset.
Stock & Securities
Gifts of appreciated stock or mutual funds can be a convenient and potentially tax-efficient way to support our work.
Securities can be transferred electronically to our account with Edward Jones or, when applicable, donated through physical certificates.
Donor-Advised Fund
A donor-advised fund, or DAF, allows you to recommend grants from an existing charitable account to organizations you care about.
If you have a DAF with Fidelity, Schwab, BNY Mellon, or another provider, you may recommend a grant to because I said I would.

Donate a Vehicle
Cars, trucks, trailers, boats, RVs, motorcycles, campers, farm machinery, heavy equipment, and many other vehicles may qualify, whether they are running or not.
Pickup is available to make donating simple.
In-Kind Donations
Supplies, equipment, professional services, and other in-kind contributions can help reduce expenses and direct more resources toward our programs.
