Role and Responsibilities

The Mental Health Program Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer and work with program team members and other staff across programs. This position offers an opportunity to inform, design, and build programs that support mental health based on best practices and work directly with individuals by connecting with supporters.

Responsibilities:

  • Informs and designs educational programs based on research and best practices in mental health, collaborating with other team members
  • Improves staff competence by providing educational resources and training as needed
  •  Work with supporters to determine mental health challenges to connect them to longer-term solutions to face their adversities. Clients may also be facing challenges with substance abuse, suicidal ideation, employment concerns, disease, bereavement, and other challenges
  • Monitors program participants through self-reporting and client check-in; obtaining additional resources as applicable; intervening in crises; providing personal support.
  • Maintains clients’ records by reviewing notes, logging events and progress.
  • Communicate clients’ progress by conducting weekly reporting.

Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Operating officer, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for coordinating all administrative activities related to the organization’s personnel. Role:
The Corrections Program Coordinator will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will

Role:
Reporting to the Founder & CEO, the Director of Fundraising and Development will plan and implement a development and fundraising program to provide for the short- and long-term needs of the organization. The successful candidate will possess a depth of experience in major gifts, capital campaigns and community/family foundation grants. This position helps forge new relationships that build because I said I would’s visibility and financial resources.

  • Build relationships with potential and current major individual donors, communicate the impact of the organization, and make direct asks for gifts between $5,000 and $250,000 that fuel our overall operations and/or capital campaigns.
  • Build relationships with community and family foundations that award grants between $5,000 and $100,000.

  • Ensure our donor management system (Salesforce) has accurate data, actionable reports, and integrations with important third-party data sources like wealth screening or birthday lists.
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM and the integrated Pardot email platform to create persuasive email fundraising marketing campaigns that utilize advanced features like AB testing and workflow rules that automatically update records. These system changes are made by our full-time Salesforce Admin employee, but with guidance and direction from the Director of Fundraising & Development.
  • Manage relationships, processes, and recruitment efforts for our Board of Directors and our Associate Board of Directors and manage board-related processes and programs
  • Create fundraising programs that can be executed by because I said I would supporters (i.e., fundraising kits) in our chapters that are in geographically distributed areas.

General Description of Position

The Camps and Retreats Director is responsible for fulfilling the mission of because I said I would by providing leadership and management for the overall operation. The position will report to the Chief Executive Officer and work with staff, client organizations, participants, donors, volunteers, and vendors. The role includes leading quality camp and retreat experiences; administrative management; securing and supervising camp staff; managing finances; and fulfilling a marketing plan. The camp and retreat facility is in Walhonding, Knox County, Ohio, 1 hour NE of Columbus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in a Camp Director position overseeing a camp program or operation.

5. Program delivery and development

  • Serve as host for groups and guests and/or lead staff to provide excellent customer service and high- quality programming

Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Camps and Retreat Director, the Guest Relations and Event Manager will help manage lodging, events, and guest relationships at the 92-acre property in Walhonding, OH.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage guest experience from reservation throughout their visit, including but not limited to taking reservations, conducting event/program planning calls, changing reservations, guests requests and greeting guests upon arrival.
  • Work in conjunction with staff to ensure that the facilities are ready for families and groups throughout the year.
  • Resolve complaints effectively and provide exceptional service to guests
  • Help build a pipeline for events, programs and revenue from schools, nonprofits, correctional professionals, weddings and other groups.
  • Coordinate services and manage logistics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
