Today it was announced that 965,000 Americans lost their jobs in the last week alone. It is well known that unemployment can lead to home foreclosure, food insecurity and even suicidal ideation. We knew this trend would be a long-term challenge, so #becauseisaidiwould created an Unemployment Transition Program back in October. Our 8-week program is designed to lead participants to life-sustaining employment while improving mental health outcomes during this stressful period. We are now looking for nonprofits partnerships.
