Teaching Honesty, Accountability & Self-Control to Offenders
The Corrections program’s fundamental components focus on imparting crucial skills to both adult and juvenile offenders, emphasizing character development and social-emotional learning. The workshops incorporate a blend of videos, discussions, and promise planning sessions, guiding participants to recognize the challenges of self-control and comprehend the cause-and-effect dynamics.
This holistic approach within the Corrections Program has proven effective in enhancing conduct within correctional facilities and curbing recidivism rates. Through a multifaceted approach that includes workshops, videos, book clubs, lesson plans, and activities, program participants gain a deeper understanding of the consequences of their actions and fortify their character. The transformative impact ripples through the overall culture of the facilities as offenders learn to apply valuable skills and tactics, enabling them to uphold promises, take accountability, and actively work on improving their self-control.
