In 2013, Alex Sheen, Founder of Because I said I would, made a 52 part New Year's resolution. He made a mistake though... he should have called it a promise. Too often so called "resolutions" just become a joke by the time March rolls around. This was a more serious commitment. It's different when you break a promise. That's how he wants it to be treated.

Filmed on December 31st, 2013, because I said I would hosted an event at New Year's Eve parties in 7 cities across the United States. We created a walls at each location where people could write and publically share their New Year's Resolutions, but we called it something else: A New Year's Promise. Video and photos of these events were uploaded to a server at 2:00am then edited into this video.
Write your New Year's Promise on a piece of paper, take a picture of it and share it through social media with #NewYearsPromise. Make this year count.
From Amanda, Christine and Alex at because I said I would, happy New Year.
