Sponsor a Family in Need. Sponsoring a bereaved family to attend a weekend retreat at our Camp can provide them with a much-needed opportunity to begin the healing process in a supportive and nurturing environment. At the retreat, they will have the chance to connect with others who have experienced loss and receive guidance from trained professionals. It can also be a chance for the family to step away from the stresses of daily life and focus on their emotional well-being. Planned Giving. Where there’s a will, there’s a way! Make because I said I would a part of your legacy by leaving a gift in your will. Stock or wire transfer. Transfers of stock or mutual funds are an easy and smart donation method. If the stock has appreciated in value, you will avoid the capital gains tax that you would pay if you sold the stock and gave the resulting cash to the charity. These transfers should be done without selling the stock, so please contact [email protected] to coordinate a broker to broker transfer.

Donor Advised Fund (DAF) A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable account. It allows charitably-inclined individual, families and businesses to make tax-deductible charitable donations of cash, publicly-traded stock and in some case, certain illiquid assets, to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program. If you have a DAF with Fidelity, Schwab, or Mellon you can make a direct donation via DAF Direct here. If you already have an account with Fidelity Charitable you can also make a direct Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to Because I said I would! DAF Direct allows donors to recommend grants from their donor–advised fund directly from our website. Neither you or us will incur any download or transaction fees.
