A good friend knows when they’re needed.

“My friend has told me that he has been diagnosed with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease which will eventually lead to cirrhosis and then a complete liver failure, resulting in his death. I have known this man for many years and we have become very close friends. I just don’t feel it fair to have him die at what would be an early age. The cirrhosis can be prevented by becoming a more healthy individual but is still not guaranteed. But in my eyes it is still worth a shot and I am making it my goal to help him through the whole process of becoming a more healthy individual, no matter the cost.”
