We have reached our goal, but the work continues!
We are so happy to announce that with the hard work of our sewers and the generous fabric donation we received, we have officially reached our goal of 15,000 face masks.
However with the new mask mandate in several Ohio counties and the spike in cases across the state, the need for face masks is at a new high. Hospitals are already reporting depleted PPE supplies, and other healthcare facilities are requesting more masks for visitors and patients alike.
With the need for masks growing, we have partnered with a fellow organization to continue to provide fabric kits to those who are willing to sew.
We can provide you with free fabric!
Because I said I would is promising to support the efforts of making a million face masks to help during the COVID-19 Pandemic. These masks will be donated to local hospitals and health care centers who are requesting a large volume of fabric masks.
Because I said I would will provide you the following:
- Free mask kits for those who are willing and able to make the commitment to complete these masks. Kits will include all required materials and information on approved patterns.
- Detailed instructions on how to pick up and drop off completed masks
If you can commit to sewing face masks in the next few weeks, please fill out the form below, and you will receive information on how you can receive your kit. These masks will be collected and donated to local hospitals and health care centers in the Cleveland area.
