This is week 30 of my 52 promise New Year’s resolution. Last week, I randomly selected the cards “I will create a series of graphs that describe how I spend my money.” A couple months ago, I resigned from my job as a Corporate Strategy Lead in order to lead “because I said I would.” I need to put some more focus on how I’m spending my savings, so this card came at a good time. If you need help tracking your personal finances, check out www.mint.com. They have a free tool that helps you track all your spending by linking to your bank accounts, credit cards, etc. This week’s video is dedicated to www.givingpledge.org. The Giving Pledge is a commitment by the world’s wealthiest individuals and families to dedicate the majority of their wealth to philanthropy. What an awesome concept! It was started by Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffet. They just had more billionaires sign the pledge in March, so it’s going strong.www.facebook.com/becauseisaidiwouldwww.twitter.com/bcisaidiwouldwww.instagram.com/becauseisaidiwouldwww.becauseisaidiwould.tumblr.combecauseisaidiwould.orgRemember, you can get 10 promise cards mailed to you at no cost!
