Because I said I would student Chapter members make many promises throughout our program. While all promises are important, some are quite literally a matter of life and death. The importance of this promise speaks for itself ….. Sariah from our Canyon High School chapter shared the following promise with us- ” I promise to never try and take my life again;”
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) , Suicide is the SECOND leading cause of death for ages 10-24. We know suicide affects many high schools across the US, and we hope our programming can continue to inspire teens to make and keep a promise to keep fighting like Sariah.
