Fundraiser for Rodie Henderson’s Mom
COVID-19. Who hasn’t been affected by it? From seeming endless quarantines, social distancing, and masks, to the most devastating of all tragedies-loss of a loved one. For some of us, we can’t afford to bury our loved ones the way we want to.
Here’s Rodie’s story.
I lost my mother to COVID-19. Her name was Sandra Henderson, and she was a nursing home patient here in Arkansas. I’m the only child she left behind along with two grandkids.
Even though this is a difficult time in my life, the job I was working for didn’t understand the pain I was facing of not being able to see my mother for a year. Then, to see her fighting for her life for a week. And then, she was gone.
I was fired the day after my mom died because I didn’t show up for work.
I am just looking to be able to pay bills and provide for my family along with obtaining a nice tombstone for my mother.”
Let’s help Rodie put his mother, Sandra, to rest with dignity and get a grave marker for her final resting place. All donations will go towards the cost of the grave marker for Rodie and his family.
