because I said I would is a social movement and 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of humanity through promises made and kept. We are changing lives through Promise Cards, chapters of volunteers, character education in schools, prisons and juvenile detention centers and communities, as well as awareness campaigns with global reach.

Your gift goes directly to establish and implement innovative lessons that teach topics like: how to keep your promises, the importance of values such as honesty and self-control, how to hold yourself and others accountable and the importance of making the promise to help others through volunteerism.
