Help us keep promises to volunteering
High School Chapter members make and keep promises as a team to tackle pressing issues in their communities by completing four volunteer projects. Projects range from helping the environment by picking up tons of trash, making chemo kits, recognizing unsung heroes in their school and community, assembling support items for people who have completed residential substance use treatment and creating care packages for children and caregivers enduring extended hospital stays.
We provide every High School Chapter with seed money for their projects and as we expand the number of chapters we need your help. Thank you for considering making a donation to because I said I would’s High School Chapter volunteer initiatives.
Your gift will actually have double the meaning!
Because I said I would’s High School Chapter Volunteer projects have already changed lives, not only for the people impacted, but also for the students planning and participating in the event. These experiences allow students to practice real-life skills as they put their own personal development into action. Student volunteers gain confidence in their ability to make direct changes in the community and develop a lifelong commitment to volunteering.
In just a short period of time, over 260 students spending over 3,000 volunteer hours have impacted 5,000+ people.
Help us reach our Goal of $5,000 and follow our progress!
